Please note!
There are no other companies that have a better chance at showing you the Orcas from kayaks than us!
Don't be fooled by guarantees and false claims about having the best camp site. We are kayaking in Johnston Strait which is the best place in the world to view wild orcas.
A well organized, professional company that sets their tours up properly has the same chance as the next at seeing whales - period. Out For Adventure offers the highest quality tours possible with many value added features for a fair price, and that is why we feel you should kayak with Orcas with us.

Orca Base Camp Itinerary
Four day itinerary varies slightly due to having one less day.

Day 1
Board Water Taxi on Quadra Island for exhilarating ride up the inside passage to our base camp. Includes interpretive marine tour with stops for wild life and snacks.
Arrive at camp - get settled and each lunch, then head down to the kayaks for instruction and paddling. On the water enjoying the kayaks till dinner. Wonderful evening spent in camp.

Day 2
Hearty impressive breakfast and we off in the kayaks heading to our waterfall hike. All the time we are looking at and for Orcas. Lunch on a wonderful beach and then a short hike to a stunning hidden water fall. Kayak the boundary of the Robson Bight Ecological Reserve and slowly make our way back to camp for another memorable evening around the camp fire. Of course, after another priceless dinner in the wild.

Day 3
Each morning, coffee lovers will awake to the smell of freshly brewed coffee and tea or hot chocolate for the others. As always you are greeted by smiling cheery guides and a full-on breakfast spread that will have you begging to remain in camp after your trip is over. We are kayaking again, looking for all types of wild life including Orcas, bears, mink, porpoises, Minke whales, eagles, osprey, deer and the list continues. Lunch is on another beach followed by a hike to the research outpost, where you will have a chance to view the area we have been kayaking in from an incredible vantage point. We meet the researchers and listen to a presentation and then enjoy an interpretive hike back to the kayaks. Explore another shoreline as we make our way back to camp.

Day 4
Today's exploration takes us into a secluded bay as we explore by sea kayak. Whales are the order of the day and we adjust our schedule to meet the Orca schedule. Our camps are set up in places that allow us the most flexibility. meaning that we don't paddle the same route every day, and we adjust our rout to allow the best exposure to the Orcas.

Day 5
Breakfast is little earlier today so that we can get a full day out of it. After our usual scrumptious breakfast we hope in our kayaks and head off for adventure! Back at camp just before lunch. We get picked up by the water taxi in the early afternoon and enjoy another marine tour down the inside passage back to Quadra island. Many times, guests head to their rooms and then meet again for a celebratory dinner at one of our local pubs.
