Learn basic kayaking skills from professional kayakers. The same guides that work each day throughout the season are the kayak instructors for our sea kayaking lessons. Who better to learn from than people who make their living in a sea kayak. You will find our guides enthusiastic, friendly and understanding while you learn.
Kayaking
lessons 101 will teach you all the basics for sea kayaking and give you
the necessary knowledge to safely and effectively paddle your sea kayak
on day trips. You will learn about entry and exit techniques, paddle
strokes and safety issues.
This is a beginner style course and it requires no previous experience. A great way to learn basic sea kayaking skills safely, as well as get used to sea kayaking if you are signed up for a longer tour. Although it is not necessary to take a sea kayak course before joining our kayaking adventures, a little preparation goes a long way for your comfort and peace of mind.
